Hello,
My name is Maria Jenicek, I am a Vocal Instructor for the Acting Center, and I am very excited to be a part of this Establishment. I am very thankful for this opportunity to be able to teach you what I know in this field.
I would just like to share a little about me for those who don’t know me:
I have been singing since I was very little. I think I began to sing first before I learned to talk. (ha ha) Anyway, I have been involved in Music since I can remember. I have performed on stage for most of my life whether I was a soloist, or involved in the School or Church Choir, drama, dance, etc. I have also traveled in the local area doing what I love to do most. I have also competed most of my growing up years as a soloist. I was also involved in a Girls Trio in High School that traveled also in the local area, our Choir teacher set us up to sing all over.
Currently I am involved in the Worship Team at our church and also part of a Women's Ensemble Group. I have also trained and raised up Worship Leaders, or just singers who want to be confident in their ability to sing. I also teach Worship in it’s many facets such as singing, dancing, acting, banners, flags, instruments, etc. I also founded and direct a Worship Ministry called ‘Sons and Daughters Ministries’ that included a Dance Team since 2001. With this Dance Team and/or Ministry, we specialized in dance, drama, flags and banners presentations through out the NW. I also do a lot of singing and speaking. I hope to put together a Worship Team soon. I have and still teach on Music in the form of Worship. I also give private lessons for those who have a desire to learn to sing or just expand their music abilities.
So, these are some of the things that I do and am as a person. Music and Worship is very important in my life and it is a ‘way’ of life for me. It’s not what I do, it is who I am! Worship IS in my blood, I breathe and live it. It is part of my calling in life. So I encourage you all to find who you are through your talent and giftings and begin to use it. I am more than happy to answer any questions that you may have and hope that I will be able to assist you in the best way possible.
Together with Crystal Reiber who is the Founder and Director of the ‘Acting Center’, we hope to combine our hearts in teaching and providing training for those who have a heart to Act, Sing, Dance, Model, etc. and also be able to encourage others that they can achieve and succeed anything they desire if they are willing to put their mind to it and putting it into action rather than just a ‘dream’. Dreams can’t happen unless you do something about it.
I am also the Education Coordinator for Nova Talent International and also a Scouting and Booking Agent on behalf of Nova. However, I hope to continue to teach and encourage my students that where they are at in their ‘self-esteem’ will make a big difference on their success in pursuing their dreams and desires. Confidence makes a huge impact on whether or not you can make it in this Industry. You must realize that to succeed you must first fail at least once to know and feel the real Victory in yourself. Personally, for myself, I put my confidence in my Lord who gives me the strength to face my fears and insecurities, and with that I am able to walk out my desires and dreams as I am lead by the Lord.
